I also received a "gold-plated" staple remover hung on a sash that can be removed to double as a paper weight. Awesome.

Your blog entry was the top result when I searched Google for "gold plated staple remover." I was not surprised to see archives boxes in the background. I am no longer an archivist, but do keep some grey boxes around and occasionally unstaple papers before scanning them. Best wishes for autumn,
